Mini-Grant awards will not exceed $500. Attendance at a grant coaching session is highly recommended for first-time applicants and applicants with questions about the grant application or their project. The coaching session is free. Coaching sessions will be held:

Who may apply: All applicants must be operating in Boulder County and be current members of BCAA. Applicants who have received funding in the BCAA/Addison Mini-Grant round immediately preceding the current round are not eligible to apply in the current round. Those who have applied and NOT received funding in the preceding round are encouraged to re-apply in the current round. Only one application per round will be accepted from any applicant or combination of applicants. BCAA is eager to encourage new applicants, so applications will not be accepted if the applicant has already received funding twice. Applications from outside the city of Boulder are strongly encouraged. Organizations must be based in Boulder County, have been in operation for a minimum of one year prior to submission of this grant, and have an operating budget of $50,000 or less. Organizations funded primarily by entities of government are NOT eligible for support. 501(c)(3) status is not required. Individual artists must have at least one year of continuous residency in Boulder County prior to submission of this application. Distribution Dates: The BCAA/Addison Mini-Grants are administered twice per year with applications due late January and late July and funds distributed mid-March and mid-September. Applicants are required to meet with the panelists for 15 minutes. This date is specified on the application. All applicants must appear for their interview. Activites not funded: The BCAA/Addison Mini-Grant will NOT support capital improvements, fundraising events, receptions, reduction of deficits, general operating expenses, art therapy, further education for artist or organization member, or projects initiated by school districts.
