Michael Hamers

I've been in graphic design & illustration for 38 years. Before starting my own freelance business, Lightspeed Commercial Arts, I worked full-time in the art depts of Harley-Davidson, Jeep, and Ball Aerospace. In the past decade I've evolved my focus to logo design & branding and science illustration. I also create websites, print design (brochures, direct mail) and book production.

I have won over 35 national and international design awards for logos, packaging, envinronmental graphics, illustration, typography and photography.

In 2019 I self-published my first book called "Walking With Rumi" with features 120 of my own fine art photos carefully paired with 100 poems and 70 quotes by the 13th century Sufi mystic poet known as Rumi.
