Interweave Dance Theatre (IDT), Boulder’s repertory dance company and the resident company of the Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop, presents its 30th annual dance performance, Retrospect, on Saturday, July 31^st at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m. in the Irey Theatre on the CU Campus.  The focus of this performance is celebration, revisitation and in some cases reinvention of works that were originally created on Interweave over the past decade.  The performance will also feature video archival footage of vintage Interweave pieces. 

            Tickets range from $18 to $22 and are available by calling 303-449-0399 or at our ticket outlets:  Starting July 12^th at Boulder Body Wear and from July 17^th at the IDT box office on the CU Campus (University Theatre & Dance Building, Room 305).

About the choreographers

            The choreographers for Retrospect include Artistic Director and Founder Lara Branen (Colorado Native and graduate of University of Colorado Dance); Assistant Director, Chris Harris (Director Louder than Words Dancetheatre); internationally renowned Jessica Hendricks (Longmont native);  Seattleites Christy McNeil and Wade Madsen (Cornish College);  Boulder native Tiffany Leise-Taskey (formerly of The Edge and DanceForce); and last but not least well-known Boulder performance artist, Nancy Cranbourne (Artistic Director 40 Women over 40.)  All these choreographers have worked with IDT for many years and some cases since its inception.
