Do you have a story to tell? Do you love comics, graphic novels, or movies? This workshop will get you started on developing your own unique vision as a graphic novelist or Sequential Artist.  Learn how to tell a story with only pictures, or learn how to move from the written word to a visual sequence. Experiment with various techniques for sketching out a layout. Learn to visualize an entire world of story action. Develop techniques for organizing your reference material. Design distinctive characters that you can draw in any position. Working in black and white, we will bring several pages of a story from idea to completion. We will also discuss inexpensive ways of reproducing and promoting your work. For teens only 13-18. This class is provided by the Boulder Valley YMCA BreakThrough Arts and September High School After Hour Arts program.
