Drawing Essentials #2

Description:

This class is for those who have taken "Drawing Essentials for Everyone with a pencil!" or continuing students who want to refresh their essential drawing skills or discover more detailed techniques.   Each week you will get techniques and tips on how to draw just about anything! We start with observation techniques on how to really see what you are drawing. Then we will explore some essential shading pencil tips you can use for drawing anything and creating a 3-dimensional look. You will be amazed at what you can learn and draw. A great stress reducer!

Materials: have for class a 9”x12” spiral bound sketchbook and a regular pencil or a set of “graphite” pencils and eraser to class. “Graphite” pencils are regular pencil except they come in different hardness.  If you get a set be sure it has “H” and “B” hardness pencils.  You will be amazed at what you can learn and draw!  For class details and questions contact the teacher/artist April Christenson.  Sign up online or at the pARTiculars Gallery and Teaching Studio in Lafayette, Colorado.  401 S.
