The Adams County Visual Arts Commission is conducting a competition among Colorado artists, or teams of artists, to create a multi-medium, mural style History Wall, perhaps using a mixture of such mediums as photographs, paintings, collage art, news accounts, documents, etc., in two 25' x 7' recessed alcoves and 70' of intervening wall space in our government center in Brighton.  The budget for the project is $92,500 and Stage 1 submissions requiring statement of interest, specific qualifications and examples of relevant past work, are due by June 2nd.  Three Semi-finalists will be selected to work with historians engaged by the Commission to produce concept specific proposals by October 1st.  Contact rsgrant@msn.com for an electronic copy of the Call For Entries.
