The subjects I choose are based on news items that i see in the daily newspaper. I am inspired by these news stories, many of them Colorado or Boulder County issues. They tend to burrow into my subconscious like wayward cactus thorns and continue to prick at me, providing an underlying level of unsettlement. I call this my "Sharp Things series.
