Martha Kate Thomas Fund for Artists
The Martha Kate Thomas Fund for Artists was established in 2013 through a bequest gift to the Community Foundation Serving Boulder County. Grants from this fund will be awarded to artists who live or work in Boulder County and who have unforeseen needs due to special circumstances. Grant awards will not exceed $3000.
Boulder County Arts Alliance is proud to administer this fund for the Community Foundation Serving Boulder County. Click on the link in the box above to learn more and to apply.
The Martha Kate Thomas Fund application is, by design, relatively simple. However, if you have never applied for a grant or for any other reason need assistance in filling out the grant form please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We will arrange a time for you to meet with a BCAA staff or board member or volunteer either in the BCAA office, over the phone or another venue with wifi to fill out the grant application.
Contribute to Flood Relief Fund for the Arts
The Boulder County Arts Alliance (BCAA) recognizes that many artists, crafts people and arts organizations throughout Boulder County have sustained damage or loss due to the recent flood. BCAA established this fund to assist these artists in their time of need. You can help us to help them:
As a donor, your contribution will be tax deductible and you may direct your donation to an area that you feel most inspired to support. However, you may not earmark your contribution for a specific artist or organization.
As an applicant, individual or organization, you may apply online for relief grants once funds become available. Look for an email announcement, check here or on our Grant Programs page for the link to guidelines and the form. Funding will be awarded based on need by a panel of artists, arts supporters and administrators.
Visit our Arts Resources page for more information on aid for artists and organizations affected by the flood.
