Block 1750

The Building

Block 1750, a Boulder-based community center, provides a diverse and welcoming space for youth and people of all ages and backgrounds to gather together under one roof. Community members use the Block to study, relax, spend time with friends, make new ones, and build their leadership skills through dance and the arts.  Musicians, poets, dancers, teachers, students, and people from all walks of life connect with one another through their various art and forms of self-expression. As a result, Block 1750 boasts one of the most diverse movement communities in the state. The Block has nearly 3000 members consisting of break dancers, ballerinas, yogis, parkour and martial arts practitioners, house dancers, hip hop heads, jazz funks, contemporary movers, modern and salsa dancers, TRX trainers, spoken word poets, musicians, and more. Small business owners, home depot employees, welders, mechanics, startup founders, baristas, chefs, videographers, professional dancers and students, kids, tweens, young adults, adults and seniors all practice and spend time together every single day under the Block’s welcoming roof. Block 1750 is truly a place where the purpose is community.
