Based on cultivating a similar state of inquiry that is presented in Dog Dance, the on-going performance series of improvised dance solos, created and performed by Joanna Rotkin of Joanna and The Agitators, this dance workshop provides you with the opportunity to drop deeply into a place of creative exploration that is based on noticing the breath with curiosity, inquisitiveness, and delight.

“It’s nothing and it’s everything.” — Alexis Miles, participant in Learning to Dog Dance and Audience Member

“It’s such a loving thing.” — Nancy Ruff, participant in Learning to Dog Dance and Audience Member

“There is no other place I would rather be.” — Paulette Fire, participant in Learning to Dog Dance

Please Note that in this workshop:

  • There is no music.
  • There is minimal instruction.
  • You will be asked to be accountable to, and in charge of your own experience.

This workshop is not for everyone for sure, but it is for you if you are looking to follow your imagination and creativity, in your own time and in your own way, with curiosity and delight.

Hope to see you there!
