Crafting the Perfect Artist Statement

Registration is closed for this event
You have an Artist Statement. You might think it's "good." But chances are, it's not communicating what you really want. This is your chance to get honest criticism from three visual arts professionals who have read hundreds of Artist Statements and want to help you make yours "great."

The Artist Statement is an important tool in promoting your work.  It can help you connect with gallery owners, museum curators and buyers. Or it can turn them off.  We'll share examples of Dos and Don'ts, and then in a friendly, professional manner, you'll get tips for improving your own statement.
