ART after Disaster - Panel Discussion with CERF+

Registration is closed for this event
What will happen if a disaster strikes your studio? In Boulder County, fires and floods have taken a significant toll on artists. Personal challenges, such as illness, can also threaten your valued career. Are there ways to be prepared and resources to help you recover? Where can you find information to help you navigate an effective path to recovery?

Search no more, because on November 3rd, the Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+) will be coming to Boulder and joining with local artists, government agencies and non-profits to bring you answers to those questions. We will be holding two FREE, informative 1.5 hour sessions,
one at noon and the other at 5pm. The topics that will be covered are:

• What have artists experienced and what was the recovery process like.
• How should you protect your art and your business.
• The resources available to aid you in recovery.
• Things to keep in mind when rebuilding.

Please register online (although we will welcome walk-ins). A free Studio Protector, The Artist’s Guide to Emergencies, will be available to the first 100 artists to register. Snacks will be available at both presentations.

These presentations are brought to you by Open Studios, Boulder County Arts Alliance and the Boulder Arts & Crafts Gallery.
