Social Media for Artists

Registration is closed for this event
Social media is no longer a choice, but needs to be a component of your marketing plan. Social media is a great place for an artist to build awareness, engage with your audience, and sell work. But how do you know where you should be spending your social media time, what you should be sharing, and how to use social media to actually sell your work? In this workshop, Cindy Hohman will walk you through understanding your ideal buyer, help you choose the right social media outlet for your business, give you a framework for what to post, and more.

Cindy Hohman is passionate about helping artists make a living with their work. She has committed most of her career to working in the visual arts and with artists, including marketing positions at the Denver Art Museum and Art Students League of Denver as well as serving on the board of the Art District on Santa Fe. She also brought a fine artist into the world who is currently working on her BFA and planning to make a living with her art. As you can imagine, she has a vested interest in helping artists be successful.
