In 2019 the Boulder Potters Guild is celebrating 50 years of community and making! In collaboration with the Boulder Potter's Guild celebration of their Golden Anniversary, Boulder County Arts Leadership Forum (BCALF) invites you to a panel discussion titled Deep Dive into Relevance in the Arts - the Relevance of Clay.This upcoming exploration is with acclaimed ceramic artists Jeanne Quinn, Kim Dickey, Katie Caron and moderated by Jasmine Baetz. Each artist will present a sample of their work followed by a discussion with time for audience Q & A. Moderator Jasmine Baetz makes work that engages with the space and community around her, and foregrounds people and ideas that have been written out of history. She is a Ceramics MFA student at CU Boulder where she is part of the inaugural cohort of Engaged Arts and Humanities Graduate Student scholars. $5 Suggested donation. Boulder County Arts Leadership Forum (BCALF), is a program of BCAA and a think tank of arts organization leaders from throughout Boulder County. Our mission is to increase the impact of the arts in Boulder County by cultivating spaces and accessibility, fostering collaborations, and creating opportunities to experience art. In addition to this event, there will be an exhibition at the Boulder Public Library titled Elements – The Boulder Potters Guild, 50 Years and Counting! from June 14 – August 4, 2019.
