Resonance Women’s Chorus of Boulder aspires to build and to nourish a community of women who share an artistic vision, an experience of human connection, and a desire to express both through song. Started in 2002, Resonance is led by founding Artistic Director Sue Coffee with Accompanist Caitlin Strickland and Organizing Maven Janis Bohan. You have three opportunities to catch their next performance, titled Strong Voices: Resonance with Rita Kissen. Kissen is the author of a newly published book of the same title that chronicles the women's chorus movement. Don't miss this hour-long program of singing and spoken word celebrating women's voices. There is no advance ticketing, so arrive early for a good seat! Sat., Oct 26, 5:00 pm United Church of Christ Longmont

BCAA is proud to be the Fiscal Sponsor for Resonance Women's Chorus. Our Fiscal Sponsorship program entitles individual artists and cultural organizations without 501(c)(3) status to apply to funders and solicit tax deductible donations under the auspices of Boulder County Arts Alliance, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Fiscal Sponsorship is essentially a re-granting program for grant awards and contributions to specific pre-approved artists or organizations intended for purposes directly related to BCAA's purpose: To provide leadership and resources for arts organizations, artists, educators, and the community of Boulder County. Refer to the guidelines on our website for more information and then contact us to schedule a brief coaching session prior to submitting your application. Image courtesy of Resonance Women's Chorus |
