Business of Arts Workshops

Artist Forum: AMA about Hosting Produced Online Programs

February 24th, 2021 - 4:00 PM through 5:00 PM

Via ZOOM

The Office of Arts and Culture, Boulder County Arts Alliance, and the Lafayette Cultural Arts Commission welcome representatives of Local Theater Company for an AMA (Ask Me Anything!) on hosting produced, polished online programs. We will discuss a step-by-step process to setting up an online program and answering any questions you may have.

Local Theater Company (LTC) discovers, develops and produces new American Plays. LTC seeks to amplify the diverse voices of new American playwrights, and to support the next generation of playwrights through our LocalWRITES education program.

This workshop provides an overview of the legal process to start a nonprofit, planning, board governance, and fundraising areas needed to start a successful nonprofit organization.

Jack's Solar Garden Artist on the Farm 2021 Request for Applications!

Jack’s Solar Garden will sponsor a 2021 Artist on the Farm who we want to showcase what our work means to the community and engage the community through their art.

They want to support local artists as their work can inspire how our community does business.

Application Deadline is March 3rd, 2021

T2Dance Open Call for Choreographers

Choreographer applications are now open for SPRINGbreak ChoreoFest 2021.

One choreographer will be selected and have the opportunity to set a work on T2 Dance Company for a performance in the 2021–2022 season. The GC will receive a $500 honorarium. Rehearsals with the company may be via zoom if travel is not possible.

Deadline: Sunday, February 28, 2021.

Grants

Arts for All Children Grant

This grant is available for music teachers in Boulder County and is intended to provide tuition assistance for lessons or help with purchasing instruments. Teachers can apply for funds ($250 - $1000) to award scholarships or purchase instruments for kids. Learn more...
