As we embark on the long journey to recovery from the devastating fires, please consider the Community Foundation of Boulder County, in partnership with Government and nonprofit organizations, is working to offer support to the community as needs emerge. If you need support, please reach out to the Boulder Office of Emergency Management, and look for resources available for those impacted by the fires.

Upcoming Grant Opportunities

Upcoming grant opportunities: keep an eye out for opening dates and application deadlines. 
Arts for All Children Grant Fund

Opens January 17th. 

This grant is available for music teachers in Boulder County and is intended to provide tuition assistance for lessons or help with purchasing instruments. Teachers can apply for funds ($250 - $1000) to award scholarships or purchase instruments for kids.

Martha Kate Thomas Fund for Artists Grant 

The Martha Kate Thomas Fund for Artists was established in 2013 through a legacy gift to the Community Foundation Serving Boulder County. Grants from this fund will be considered from artists who live and work in Boulder County and meet any one or more of these priority groups:

  • Artists with unforeseen needs due to unexpected circumstances
  • Artists of Color
  • Artists with disabilities
  • Indigenous artists
  • New generation artists (18-26 years old)

This grant opportunity is usually available in late Winter. We are working to make these funds available sooner. Please check the BCAA website in the coming days

El Fondo para Artistas Martha Kate Thomas se estableció en 2013 a través de una donación heredada a la Fundación Comunitaria que Sirve al Condado de Boulder. Se considerarán las subvenciones de este fondo de artistas que viven y trabajan en el condado de Boulder y cumplen con uno o más de estos grupos prioritarios:

2022 Boulder Star Holiday Card
 

Open to All Professional Visual Artists, Illustrators and Designers in the Boulder Region.

Help keep the beloved Boulder Star shining during the 2022 holiday season!

The Boulder Chamber seeks to commission a professional local artist, illustrator and/or designer in association with Boulder County Arts Alliance, to create an original image that it can license for the 2022 Boulder Star Holiday Card, a wine label, and possibly other items.  Sale of items that carry the original image support the Boulder Chamber’s stewardship of the beloved Boulder Star.

¡Contribuya a que la querida estrella de Boulder siga brillando durante la temporada navideña de 2022!

La Cámara de Comercio de Boulder en colaboración con Boulder County Arts Alliance, busca contratar a un artista, ilustrador y / o diseñador local profesional  para crear una imagen original que pueda licenciar para la tarjeta navideña de la estrella de Boulder 2022, una etiqueta de vino y posiblemente otros artículos.
