TONIGHT: Ping Pong with a Purpose

The NeuroPong Program by Table Tennis Connections and the Museum of Art in Fort Collins (MoA) are partnering to create a fundraising event, “Ping Pong with a Purpose”. This event raises awareness on the lived experiences of those with Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s, and Mild Dementia.

Friday, September 06th during the Fort Collins First Friday Art Walk from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

When: Wednesday, September 18 (5:30 - 7:00 PM)
Where: The Collective (201 N. Public Road, Lafayette)

Have your questions answered by local funders of school and community arts and culture grants, followed by networking and music.

Moderated by  ACRD Director Rachel Hanson, panelists will address topics relevant to prospective, current and past grantees, as  well as current topics such as approaches to equity, accessibility and inclusivity, prior to a Q&A.

Authentic Allyship

Who's in the Limelight?
The Mariposa Collective

The Mariposa Collective is a performing artists collective dedicated to the service and support of contemporary artists and the creative process. Their mission is to support a diverse community by engaging in artistic dialogue, exploring and sharing multi-disciplinary work, and offering quality artistic contributions to the community at large.

The Mariposa Collective was founded in Boulder, CO in 1994 by Diane Butler, Barbara Dilley, Carol McDowell, and Polly Motley as a collaborative space for its members, providing fuel for projects, and helping to inspire and develop work in the presence of others. Other past members include Lucien Wulsin, Cara Reeser, Katherine Kaufman, Christy Harris, Kim Olson, David Ortalano, Paul Temple, Mary Kite, Brigitta Hermann, and Ana Baer.

Their next performance "Momentum" will be January 31- February 2, 2025 at the Dairy Arts Center, and will feature Musicians James Hoskins, Victor Mestas, Jesse Manno, and Tober Schorr, and dance, film, and puppetry from Mariposa Core Members and other Artists from our community. Mariposa Collective es un colectivo de artistas escénicos dedicado al servicio y apoyo de artistas contemporáneos y al proceso creativo. Su misión es apoyar a una comunidad diversa mediante la participación en el diálogo artístico, la exploración y el intercambio de trabajos multidisciplinarios y la oferta de contribuciones artísticas de calidad a la comunidad en general.
