Al's Hwy50, the brainchild of Al Laughlin, an original founding member of the legendary Colorado Band, The Samples, is thrilled to announce upcoming show dates in Colorado and on East Coast.
Renowned for their fusion of reggae and ska rhythms, Al's Hwy50 delivers a unique musical experience that captivates audiences of all ages. With Al Laughlin at the helm, fans can expect an electrifying performance filled with soulful melodies and infectious beats that showcase his undeniable talent and passion for music. Renowned for their dynamic and captivating live performances, Al’s Hwy50 concerts are synonymous with energy and danceability.
Al Laughlin was an original member of the esteemed Colorado band, The Samples. Al’s creative influence was instrumental in crafting the iconic sound of The Samples. Al helped write some of their most popular songs featuring catchy hooks and a bubble reggae style, giving the band its signature sound. He is still collaborating with many of his old bandmates, as well as new talent from the vibrant Colorado music scene. Al’s Hwy50 most recently played at The Full Cycle Café & Bar, which is working on bringing back some of the old Boulder vibe. Al, a torch bearer from Boulder’s storied past will perform at Full Cycle regularly as well as many other local Colorado venues.
