Boulder artist Erica Green and Santa Fe artist Thomas Roth both explore surface texture in their process-based abstract works although each works quite differently: Green in fiber installations and thread drawings, Roth in minimalist sculptural reliefs. The most important link between these artists however, and what this show primarily examines, is their embrace of unexpected mistakes and changes in their works, as both artists create freely and often without a plan for the final work before they begin.
This exhibition runs through April 15, 2018 in the Dairy Arts Center's MacMillan Family Lobby & Hand-Rudy Galleries.
