"Cigar Box Guitars" at Bricolage Gallery, Boulder

The wood cigar box has been used to create guitars since the Civil War. Instruments crafted with cigar boxes is currently enjoying wide popularity and interest, in part because each instrument has its own unique sound, and is relatively easy to make. Colorado artists Michael Bradshaw, Donald DeNoncourt, Peter Faris, and Michael O'Reilly share their clever, handsome working instruments with us in this unusual reclaimed material exhibit.
