Boredomfighters, Inc.

Nonprofit empowering the next generation of movers, shakers, and music makers.

6 years ago we were made aware of a major gap in music education across the globe. While many are aware that funding is limited for music and arts in many school districts, it's often overlooked that music teachers aren't teaching youth to make the music that they want to make. Often they are stuck with outdated lesson plans that show them to play other peopls' music in which they might not always resonate. Since conception in 2017, Boredomfighters have hosted 581 workshops or camps that have placed 7,910 total youth in an inclusive music studio environment for the first time. From massive assemblies to small studio breakout sessions, we are a dedicated team of music makers and music industry workers who believe in the magic of empowering youth to make their own music. 78% of our workshops and camps have been provided to those youth at no charge to them or their families.
