I have been a professional artist for over 40 years. I specialize in figurative and landscape paintings in pastel and oil as well as photography. Much of my figurative work is inspired by the color and movement expressed by local dancers, musicians and athletes. Landscapes may evolve from my continuing explorations of the beauty of Colorado or exotic views from my international travels. My work includes both plein aire and studio art.
I taught for many years with Lifelong Learning, CU Continuing Ed. and assorted other venues. I am currently teaching private and small group classes in pastel.
