Victoria Lorán is the violinist of Loran Strings and performs as a soloist as well as with both the Violin & Cello Duo and Violin & Accordion Strolling Duo. She is the owner and business manager of Lorán Strings which has been providing classical music services to the Front Range area since 1995. Victoria studied violin performance at the University of Northern Colorado where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. She has played with many of the area groups to include the Denver Chamber Orchestra, Cheyenne Symphony and the Greeley Philharmonic where she served as a principal violinist. Program: Reflections on A Life with Violin: A Book in Concert. Ms. Loran narrates the book that she wrote (it is a photo book with prose that runs through it), and she plays eight small concert pieces throughout the reading. The concert is one hour followed by book signing/reception.
