Following 2014's sold-out performances of Obstinate Pearl, 3rd Law joins Boulder Bach Festival Music Director/electric violinist Zachary Carrettin with Marcia Schirmer on prepared piano in a new collaboration merging the transcendent musics of J.S. Bach with the mystical sounds of American composer John Cage. 3rd Law Artistic Co-Directors Jim LaVita and Katie Elliott, with ten dancers, bridge these seemingly disparate sounds to blend classical music traditions with an avant-garde sensibility.
