OzBox Photo Booth
OzBox began on as a spur of the moment art project during a night event at the Boulder Contemporary Art Museum. Armed with only a camera, a flash, 20 dollars, and a bunch of gumption, Lewis began to gather cardboard and 2×4’s to build his first photo booth. 5 years later and many lumps wiser the booth has taken a much more refined form as OzBox, a completely hand crafted rich, wooden jumbo photo booth garnished with hand painted enamel signs heavy velvet curtains. It captures and prints at studio quality on the spot. It is a truly beautiful contraption.
Lewis is “larger than life.” An artist and entrepreneur, he has been taking people’s photos for the last 10 years and has been crafting things since he can remember.
