Philip V. Bohlman is the Mary Werkman Distinguished Service Professor of Music and the Humanities and Associate Faculty in the Divinity School, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also is  a member of the Chicago Center for Jewish Studies, the Committee on Southern Asian Studies Center for East European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies, the Center for Middle Eastern Studies and Center for the Study of Race, Politics, and Culture; Department of Germanic Studies.
