Guidelines and applications are now available for Colorado Creative Industries' (CCI) Colorado Creates grants. These grants provide financial support to nonprofit cultural organizations and communities so that they can produce and present arts and cultural activities, bringing jobs to their communities and enhancing their quality of life.
Grant applicants must be Colorado 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations or independent components of Colorado public colleges or universities, or government agencies. Applicants must have been providing public arts or cultural heritage programs in Colorado for at least three years by the application deadline.
The funding period for projects and operations is Oct. 1, 2015 - Sept. 30, 2016, and the deadline for receipt of online applications is 4 p.m. on Thurs., June 11, 2015.
