Front Range Film Festival: Get Spirited!  Get Race-y!  Get Hopped!
We're bringing you a wonderful slate of films at some exciting venues this year.  With one historic Firehouse, two breweries, a distillery, outdoor screenings and a restaurant ...FRFF will thrill you, teach you and move you. In its third year, in 10 venues located throughout Longmont and Lyons, FRFF highlights local filmmakers and their short films, features and documentaries.

Kicking off Wed., April 29 at Left Hand Brewery in Longmont, there's the world premiere of "Colorado Hopped: Bine to Beer" by local documentary filmmaker, Barbara Hua.  This film showcases the local farmers who've sprung up to fill the need for locally-sourced hops for the craft beer industry.  There will be beer specials and lots of farmers and brewers on-hand for the screening!

Thursday, April 30: Look Out Lyons!  Film events all over town: Get Spirited at Spirit Hound Distillery with fun shorts from the SF Disposable Film Festival, Get Compact at the Tiny screening house with ethereal shorts by Evan Mann, Get Local with nature films by Dawn George featuring Denver arborist, Ryan Bartlett, "Bees N Trees" at local restaurant And finish your evening with a feature length film (TBD) at Oskar Blues Restaurant and Bar.

Firehouse Art Center hosts the Firehouse First Friday Films on May 1 at 6 PM, with two amazing films! Find friendship with a couple of modern-day gypsies in "American Bear: An Adventure in the Kindness of Strangers" with filmmakers Sarah Sellman and Greg Grano.  Then stay up late and show off your ink; it's "Tattoo Nation" with filmmakers Eric Schwartz and Christine O'Donnell featuring tattoo artists from local tattoo parlors. You'll leave inspired and possibly itchin' for some ink!

Saturday, May 2 brings films and fun at the Oskar Blues Brewery.  Come get a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most prolific craft brewers in a space that's not been open to the public before! There will be short films by local filmmakers featuring musicians, art, history and dance. Something for everyone and all ages are welcome. Films start at 4 PM

Saturday night’s screening is at the Oskar Blues Brewery at 7 PM and will feature "Inspired to Ride," the latest work by bike-enthusiast Mike Dion. There will be beers and bikes and even an auction that no bicycle lover would want to miss.

The Front Range Film Festival raises funds for the Firehouse Art Center, Bicycle Longmont, and Treads and Trails—an Oskar Blues Can'aid Foundation.
