"Walt Whitman Sings" A Spirit Revival in Story and Song

"I've been touring the U.S. as Walt Whitman for the past two years. I have set Whitman's rolling verses into gospel, folk, and hip-hop musical frames, and I preach the Gospel According to Walt. In two 45-minute acts, I speak his evolutionary soul in story and song.  My goal is to make his words seem as relevant, thrilling, and essential to others as them seem to me when we read them aloud, my lover and me, in the open air."
