NoBo Art District Invites Submissions for Sidewalk Murals

The NoBo Art District’s PLACE (PLacemaking by Art and Community Engagement) Project has been awarded a $10,000 grant by the Boulder Arts Commission to create sidewalk murals. Six Colorado artists, ages 18 and older, will be commissioned to paint their designs on the east and west side of North Broadway between Rosewood and Yellow Pine. Painting is expected to begin in September followed by a neighborhood block party later that month. This is one of many steps to make NoBo a public art destination.
