Frequent Flyers® Aerial Dance Professional Company – Aerial Dancers (Independent Contractor)

Frequent Flyers® Aerial Dance has been advancing the field of aerial dance for 27 years. We are seeking professional aerial dancers to join our Professional Company in Boulder, CO.

Skills should include some, or all, of the following apparatus: Low Flying Trapeze, Static Trapeze, Lyra, Fabric, Rope, Stilts, Handstands, AcroBalance, Aerial Partnering, Rope and Harness, Bungee or Sling. Candidates should be interested in joining a team that works together closely to craft performances. Choreography and performances subject to the oversight of the Artistic Director.

Specific skills required are: • Intermediate/ Advanced level in Ballet or Modern • Advance aerial experience required in multiple aerial apparatus. • Training in Contact Improvisation, Martial Arts, Acrobatics and/or Theater are all a plus. Contract: minimum of 1 year. Dancers are paid on a per-project basis. Rehearsals: Sunday and Monday evenings and two afternoons during weekdays TBD at our Aerial Dance Studio, Boulder, Colo.

Must be available for show runs, possibly touring, and corporate performances.
