Your Soul’s Movement Northfield Stapleton’s Center for Movement

Offering classes for all ages, from tots to adults in a range of dance styles and movement, Your Soul’s Movement aims to become a hub of community and arts for the Northfield area.

The studio will offer fitness programing in addition to the main focus of catering to children’s programming. The Northfield location will house a yoga studio, dance performance space, additional studio space and a boutique for retail sale of dancewear and accessories.

Looking for: Coordinator of Programs/ Overall Manager of Your Soul’s Movement at Northfield Stapleton that has the motivation, vision and passion needed to create programming and get students in the door. This individual will serve as an integral asset to Your Souls Movement’s initial success upon opening. We are hoping to find someone that is already involved in the Northfield Community and has a sense of ownership and pride in giving back to it. Finally, this individual must have a serious go-getter attitude as this is a completely NEW project with amazing potential and opportunities for all involved.

Goal: The primary and preliminary opportunity will be to create Summer Program for Kids that is focused on movement and different categories of art. This program will be started THIS summer and will offer several variations of programming to include: Yoga, Mommy & Me, Ballet, Creative Movement, Modern Dance and an Ethnic Dance Component with Folklore, East Indian Dance and African Dance. It will be the Coordinators concern to manifest this programming in conjunction with the school owner. This program will continue through the Summer and cumulate with a Performance for the Parents to showcase the movement learned through the program.

Compensation: This Full Time position has potential to be financially very rewarding. The right person with a concentrated focus has an earning potential is a big as you can imagine. Your compensation will be directly correlated to the success of the school. However, at the start there will be a salary from the School Owner. The enrollment minimum goal for the business is to have 40 students a week/ every week signed up for the Kids Summer Camp.
