Come to the sixth annual SculptureX Symposium 2015: Value Added hosted by the James Pearson Duffy Department of Art and Art History, Wayne State University (Detroit, MI). It’s generously and collegiately co-sponsored by the Frostic School of Art, Western Michigan University, the Penny Stamps School of Art and Design, University of Michigan, and the Cranbrook Academy of Art.

NETWORK, MEET, LISTEN, DISCUSS, ARGUE, LOOK, AND HAVE A GREAT TIME IN DETROIT. IT’S GONG TO BE ALL SCULPTURE ALL THE TIME FOR A DAY AND A HALF. Revel in receptions at four sculpture exhibitions at Wayne State and Cranbrook. Attend professional development workshops for students. Finally, if you’ve got an ounce of strength left, hear Keynote Speaker Sheila Pepe and join panels on Social Practice and Process.

You can stay at the Atheneum Hotel for a reduced rate, be shuttled about, and walk from Wayne State to the Detroit Institute of Art for free admission to their fabulous collections.
