For Interweave Dance Theatre's 35th annual summer concert, our diverse collective of choreographers find inspiration in words – from poetry to song lyrics to a passage from a book. The work in this performance combines the language of dance and the written word to speak to the audience in a powerful way beyond either mode of expression. Words will be incorporated into each piece in a manner unique to each choreographer’s vision. Whether spoken word, visual representations of language or as a complete afterthought - IDT will engulf the audience in its world of words.
