The Colorado Green Building Guild and the Colorado Renewable Energy Society, two local non-profit, are proud to present our first annual Boulder Green Home Tour, taking place on Saturday, September 26th , 2015, from 10am-4pm. People from Boulder and surrounding areas are invited to tour our community and to step inside some amazing green homes.
The purpose of the Boulder Green Home Tour is to highlight some of the most innovative green building projects in Boulder and to help promote the collaborative exchange of ideas on green building in our community. We will also be partnering with Flatirons Habitat for Humanity to showcase one of their latest sustainable homes and donating 10% of our proceeds to their local projects.
The self-guided tour will feature 10-15 privately owned green homes in the Boulder area. Attendees will see both modern and traditional custom homes, remodels and multi-family projects. We are expecting 200-500 attendees.
