PUSH.POP.KICK is an exhibition displaying adaptations of the skateboard culture addressing topics like sex, humor, fun, recreation, hedonism as well as violence, politics, racism, drugs, religion, and everything in between. The skateboarding culture and its visual art evolution have been well documented since conception and has become a major influence in society as a whole.
In the PUSH.POP.KICK, artist/curator Mark Bueno has invited talented artists specifically making skateboard themed art, as well as contemporary artists, that have no background in skateboarding at all, to participate in the exhibition. In casting a wide curatorial net, the selected artists come from all genres and from all over the world, creating a variety of skateboarding concepts and visual experiences for all to enjoy.
