CU-Boulder Friends of the Libraries celebrates 100-year anniversary of Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom with free event

The Friends of the Libraries at the University of Colorado Boulder will host a free event, “Talking with My Grandmother: World War I and the Women’s Peace Movement” to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, an organization dedicated to global peace, justice and women’s rights.

The public is invited to attend the performance on Thursday, September 24th, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. in Norlin Library’s Center for British and Irish Studies on the CU-Boulder campus. A lightly catered reception will precede the program at 4:00 p.m., and Ann Marie Pois of the CU-Boulder Women’s Studies Program will moderate a group discussion for all participants afterward.  Pay parking is available at the Euclid Auto Park on the CU-Boulder campus.
