The Lumber Baron was a condemned apartment building when the Keller's bought it in 1991 and major renovations were required. It is said to host some lingering spirits who refuse to move on.

Since re-opening, the Inn has experienced a number of haunting incidences, including sightings of a young woman. Often, phantom footsteps are also heard.
