Let's Kill the Whistleblower

November 13 - December 31, 2015

When Charity Action Saving & Helping (CASH) throws its annual holiday party for big-fish donors you can be that sparks will fly between uptight organizer Nancy Ann Cianci and office-prankster Marty Graw. But did anyone expect murder? Good luck will be needed for the casino night gambling portion of the evening while party crasher Ed Rainden confronts Board President Robin Gold and the mysterious Max Power. The sneaky book-worm Lou Pole squirms while Marty’s greatest party prank explodes in the form of knock-out Kissy Galore leaping from the filling of a giant cake! Meanwhile a secret plot to murder derails the casino festivities as the Bike Squad police tag-team the investigation over a delicious dinner, music, and multimedia fun!

Trevor Huster provides live music with magic & comedy by Dave Elstun and Matt Vander Meulen. Vocal & dance performances by Stephanie Bruce, Matt Brandt, Sara Kerlin, Gwenelle Buzick!

The evening includes $1000 worth of casino chips to start, followed by a dinner of Honey Smoked Salmon or Chicken Divan served with salad, vegetable, rice, dessert and a complimentary beverage. (Vegetarian and Gluten Free options available at no extra charge with advance notice.) Tickets range from $49.99 - $69.99; $89.99 for the special New Year's Eve performance, and show photos are available online for free the next day after the show!

Walter Keller and his family lovingly poured their heart and soul into restoring the Lumber Baron to its original glory. The building was a condemned apartment building when the Keller's bought it in 1991 and major renovations were required.

The Lumber Baron Inn & Gardens was named after John Mouat, a Scottish immigrant who amassed a fortune in lumber in 1890. Mouat worked with top architects to build this 8500 square foot home for his family in the Highlands. His home featured cherry, oak, poplar, sycamore, maple and walnut – all adorned with distinct carvings and ornate detail. Just as it does today, the third floor ballroom hosted social events under the elegant pyramid ceiling and on top of the beautiful maple floor. And on the main floor, Amelia Mouat’s original kitchen has been updated into a full catering kitchen capable of serving overnight visitors and event guests.

Rescued from a local junkyard and renovated, the massive 500-pound, 14-pointed star, which sat atop Disney's Celebrity’s Sports Center for 34 years, was craned to the flat-topped turret of their 1890 home on December 2, 2010.
