All day Art Camp at the Arts Hub in Lafayette

Guest Artist, Mindy Flexer will be teaching an All Day Art Camp August 8-12 at our new Arts Hub in Lafayette!

Welcome to summer art camp! $25 additional materials fee due on 1st day of camp. Children, tweens, and teens are all invited. Each participant will learn real art skills and get to express his or her unique vision in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. We'll do both 2D and 3D projects related to a different theme each week, so you can sign up for both weeks, or just one.

We'll work with a variety of materials, using both fine craft and fine art traditions for inspiration. We'll make functional things, using ceramics and textiles, and things to just look at, using drawing, painting, and printmaking. Each student-artist will get plenty of individual attention to pursue their own ideas, while being part of a team that cheers them on. The art studio will be a place for the real fun of doing serious artwork together!
