Description

Boulder Fringe (a Colorado 501(c)3 nonprofit) is looking for creative, passionate, and motivated, individuals to work with a team of organizers to create our annual festival. Boulder International Fringe Festival is an action packed 12 day performance art festival that includes: theater, music, dance, film, visual art, improv, puppetry, circus arts, parties, talk shows and more- 300+ events and more than 10,000 audience members each year. This is a great opportunity to dive into a non-profit that is cutting edge, contemporary and FUN, all while connecting you to a professional network of businesses, non-profits, artists, city offices, and a large network of audiences.

Timeline: 5-10 hours per week from now until October 15th, 2016. Flexible in time commitment and end date. If you are a student, we will be flexible around your exam schedule.

We have 2 internships available:

1. PRODUCTION ASSISTANCE:
Needed: Technical proficiency with Lighting, Sound, Staging and Video, Design experience helpful but not required. Good communication skills is a plus!
Duties: Set-Up/Take-Down of tech equipment for events; oversee the technical production and needs. May need to coordinate with patrons and the production of special events.

2. MARKETING/WEB COORDINATION:
Needed: Experience with web-based communication/organizing tools, Social Media networking and online marketing.
Duties: Assist with advertising and social media content writing. Strategically plan marketing materials/outreach before events. Assist with current online calendars and web-based communication/organizing tools.

We are looking to partner with someone in creating a working relationship that is mutually beneficial to you and the Fringe Festival within a part-time internship. We have intentionally left these categories broad to allow this position to be co-created.
