The Piecemakers are a group of Denver/Metro/Foothills art quilters who have been meeting for over 20 years. Together and individually we have been juried into exhibitions throughout the US and internationally. We are teachers and artists utilizing different techniques and different styles all of artistic excellence.
This contemporary exhibit of quilt-work features a rich array of textiles in a variety of materials and styles. Some work is playful, some elegant, some focus on nature and the challenges that face us. Some of the work is realistic and other abstract. The quilters use photography and digital imagery; hand dyed and painted fabrics; and commercial fabrics creating innovative imagery and open the door to new techniques.
