The Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF) is a 4 day celebration of film from all corners of the world, with parties, panels, and celebrity guests. BIFF 2017 is March 2-5.
BIFF has gained a reputation as one of the most influential film festivals in the U.S., with a large number of new films that have gone on from early screenings at BIFF to significant success and multiple Oscar nominations. BIFF films have won Academy Awards, Grand Jury Prizes at Sundance, the DuPont Award, and the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival, among others. We have hosted some of the industry's most talented artists, including award-winning actors Bruce Dern, Alan Arkin, Shirley MacLaine, Peter Fonda, Martin Sheen, William H. Macy, James Franco, Oliver Stone, Alec Baldwin, Chevy Chase, Blythe Danner, and Maria Bello.
Additional features of BIFF include CineCHEF, an event highlighting some of the best chefs in Boulder, a three-day youth pavilion free for students, and new at BIFF 2017, a Virtual Reality Pavilion. Tickets on sale in mid-February.
