Boulder artist / art educator, Rodney Swanstrom is presenting his multi-media work that centers around his reoccuring motif of a "skylight." The skylight has been an image and idea he has experimented with for the last 25 years. This is a mini retrospective that shows how he has worked with the idea of a skylight both literally and metaphorically as a window to explore and create unique and meaningful artworks.

The centerpiece of the show is an interactive installation entitled, "Skylight Wishing Well." The artist has coined a word for this constructed work as a "combination," where the veiwer is invited to reconstruct the stucture of elements and personalize a glass medallion and drop it into the "well" for a wish to come true.

The official opening will be Wednesday FEB 8 / 2:30-4:30 ,with light refreshments and music by Michael Delalla.

An artist talk will be Wednesday March 8 / 7:30 @ Frazier Meadows Assembly Room.
