Agatha Christie’s
AND THEN THERE WERE NONE
directed by Dan Schock
February 24-March 11
Ten guilty strangers are trapped on an island. One by one they are accused of murder, and one by one they die. In this superlative mystery-comedy Agatha Christie foretells each death with statues of little soldier boys on the mantle of the house on the island falling and breaking on the floor. A nursery rhyme tells how each of the “soldiers” met his death until there were none. A mysterious voice accuses each “guest” of having gotten away with murder and then one drops dead. One down and nine to go!
About the play, director Dan Schock says, “And Then There Were None is the quintessential mystery that so many others try to mimic. It holds us on the edge of our seats with suspense, passion, intrigue and of course murder! I have been looking forward to directing this show for many years and am thrilled that I have the opportunity to do so as the first show of Coal Creek Theater of Louisville's fantastic 28th season!"
“And Then There Were None endures with a no-nonsense plot—straightforward and entertaining in a subdued British way.” –News Works
