Installed in 2016 as part of Longmont's Art in Public Places public art project, Shock Art.
Shock Art began in 2011 as an invitation to local artists to submit designs for switchgears located throughout the City of Longmont. Every year the AIPP comissions five differents artists, the winners are chosen by Longmont community members.
