Tinker Art Studio seeks to hire one or two energetic, positive and highly qualified Art Teachers to join our team this fall. One open position is for our older children's (ages 9-12) and teen (ages 13-16) classes, and another open position is for our adult classes. The childrens/teen Lead Teacher teaches approximately 3-4 afternoon classes per week (Wednesdays & Thursdays) + Private Lessons as they are booked. Classes include realistic drawing, acrylic painting, theme based classes, and more. Therefore, the applicant should have thorough knowledge of a variety of mediums and teaching techniques within these mediums.
Our Adult Instructor opening teaches adult classes in Acrylic Painting and Life Drawing three evenings a week. The applicant should be proficient in acrylic painting and life drawing as well as have experience managing, working with, and directing a live nude model. The applicant should also have the ability to successfully create, plan and implement an 8-9 week course in Intro to Acrylics, Acrylics II, and Life Drawing.
Tinker is a very fun work environment with minimal turnover. This would be a great opportunity for a wonderful art teacher!
