Description
What is creative nonfiction? Can writing from real life be interesting? Creative? Fun?
In this free 2-hour workshop, we'll explore how the everyday material of our lives--our experiences, thoughts, and observations--can make compelling writing. We'll read examples of creative nonfiction--personal essays, true stories, and experimental forms--by teens and established authors, and we'll spend time writing our own original work.
A great introduction to a new avenue of creative expression.
Ages 13 and up. All levels welcome.
