Join the Art Abandonment Movement

Monday, November 30 at 5:30 pm
Firehouse Art Center, 667 4th Ave, LongmontArt Abandonment

Art Abandonment is the practice of making something and then leaving it for some lucky, unsuspecting person to find, perhaps thereby encouraging more random acts of art.

Gather with other artists to create small artworks to be abandoned.  We'll art-bomb select trees in Louisville and Boulder on Thursday, December 17.  If you can't join us for the making or the abandoning, you may drop off your ready-to-hang pieces at either BCAA's office or Firehouse Art Center by Friday, December 11.  The quantity of art received will help us determine the abandonment sites.

Please note that the Panel Discussion on Artist Displacement that was scheduled for Wednesday, November 18 from 5:30 - 8 pm at the Longmont Museum and Cultural Center has been postponed due to a scheduling conflict with the speakers.  Stay tuned for the new date!
